Disposal & Recycling: What Happens to Removed Items?
Your junk doesn't just disappear. Here's our commitment to responsible handling.

Our Three-Tier Approach
1. Donation First
Before anything goes to disposal, we assess what's still usable. Items in good condition go to local donation centers and charities:
- Furniture that's clean and functional
- Working appliances
- Household goods and kitchenware
- Clothing and textiles
- Books, toys, and sporting goods
We work with organizations throughout Riverside County who put these items to good use. Your old couch might become someone's first piece of furniture in a new apartment.
2. Recycling What We Can
Many items contain valuable materials that can be recycled:
- Metals: Appliances, bed frames, exercise equipment
- Electronics: Certified e-waste recyclers handle TVs, computers, phones
- Mattresses: California requires mattress recycling — foam, fabric, and springs are separated
- Cardboard and paper: Sorted and baled for recycling
- Yard waste: Green waste becomes mulch and compost
We partner with licensed recycling facilities that meet California's strict environmental standards.
3. Responsible Disposal
What can't be donated or recycled goes to licensed disposal facilities. We use:
- Badlands Landfill in Moreno Valley
- Lamb Canyon Landfill in Beaumont
- Specialty facilities for hazardous materials
All disposal is documented and follows Riverside County regulations.
Why This Matters
Responsible disposal isn't just about following rules — it's about being good neighbors in the Inland Empire. We live here too. The same landfills, the same air, the same community.
When you hire us, you can feel good knowing your items are handled thoughtfully, not just dumped at the nearest location.
Items Requiring Special Handling
Some items need extra attention:
- Refrigerators and AC units: Refrigerant must be properly recovered
- Paint and chemicals: Hazardous waste facilities only
- Batteries: Recycled through certified programs
- Tires: Special tire recycling facilities
- Medical waste: Proper biohazard handling
We handle all of this for you — no need to figure out where different items should go.
